Once upon a time there was a grand family by the name of Miller who
lived, loved, worked, worshiped and died at a place called Lake
Ridge,Michigan. This is near Britton in Macon Twp,Lenawee
County,MI.
Johann Georg and Dorothea(Englehart)Mueller came to America from
Junkersdorf,Bavaria,Germany in 1847. They made an 8 week voyage
and landed in Quebec,Canada. They located on a farm at
Brookfield,Trumbell County,Ohio and a few years later located to
Michigan for a larger farm. They passed away at age 80 and 84
respectively. They produced many children, grandchildren and
gr-grandchildren who continue to this day with the family name and
legacy. The farm in MI is no longer a Miller farm and they are resting
within sight of their beloved homeplace at the Lake Ridge
Cemetery, but their legacy continues for the descendants-Worship
and Love God. These are my ancestors and this is their story. This
website is dedicated to the whole Miller family- past, present and yet
to come.
